Gujarat Government Launches Online Registration for Mustard and Chickpea MSP Sales
In a significant move to support agricultural producers, the Gujarat state government has announced that farmers can now register online to sell mustard and chickpeas at minimum support prices (MSP). The registration process will commence on February 13 and continue until March 5, as confirmed by State Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani on Wednesday.

Minister Vaghani further explained that the procurement operations will be conducted based on the total cultivation area and production levels. This approach ensures that purchases are made in a manner that reflects the actual agricultural output, thereby supporting farmers proportionally.
