Mizoram Chief Minister Unveils MSME Excellence Project to Empower Local Entrepreneurs
In a significant move to bolster micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the state, Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma officially launched the Micro & Small Entrepreneurs Excellence project on Thursday. He pointed to recent achievements, noting that several Mizo youths had earned awards at last year's IndiaSkills Competition, showcasing the region's untapped potential.
The Chief Minister emphasized the critical need to empower local entrepreneurs to become self-reliant, stating that the government's flagship Hand-holding scheme is specifically designed to create meaningful and sustainable opportunities for them. He observed that many MSME owners in Mizoram have already built their livelihoods through sheer determination and proactive initiative, expressing firm confidence that this newly launched project will propel them toward even greater success and economic stability.

Lalduhoma underscored the expertise brought by organizations like CII, mentioning that CII-CEL has a proven track record of successfully implementing similar initiatives in other states across India.
