Rijiju made these remarks during a two-day Chintan Shivir, or brainstorming camp, held at the historic Nalanda University in Bihar.

During the event, Rijiju unveiled several key digital initiatives aimed at enhancing governance and service delivery. This application will facilitate direct oversight of various development schemes implemented under the PMJVK program, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Rijiju emphasized that achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047 is impossible without the upliftment of minority communities. He stated, "The progress of minorities is integral to our national vision, and these tools will help us monitor and accelerate development on the ground."
In addition to the PMJVK app, the minister introduced new Haj-related digital services, including the Haj Wrist Band and the Haj Suvidha app. He also launched AI chatbots developed by the ministry to assist citizens. These launches took place in the presence of MoS for Minority Affairs George Kurian and ministers from various states, such as Bihar's Zama Khan.
Strengthening Centre-State Coordination and Heritage Appreciation
Rijiju highlighted Nalanda University as a symbol of India's ancient civilizational heritage and a center of excellence. He expressed confidence that the deliberations at the Chintan Shivir would streamline coordination between the Centre and states, boost stakeholder participation, and ensure effective implementation of schemes at the grassroots level.
Addressing the participants, MoS George Kurian noted that the PMJVK scheme plays a crucial role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Viksit Bharat. He added that it significantly contributes to infrastructure development in minority-dominated areas, fostering equitable growth.
