Tripura Council of Ministers Approves Nari Adalat Pilot Initiative
The Tripura council of ministers has made a significant decision to implement the central government's Nari Adalat scheme as a pilot project, commencing in 10 selected gram panchayats across the state. Cabinet spokesperson and Minister of Transport and Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury, emphasized that the Nari Adalat initiative aims to provide a robust platform for addressing cases of violence, abuse, and other atrocities against women.
