Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Honors Agricultural Scientists in Prestigious Ceremony
In a significant event held in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presided over the recognition of 45 scientists for their exceptional contributions to agriculture and related fields. The ceremony was conducted under the framework of the 'Uttar Pradesh Krishi Vaigyanik Samman Yojana' for the fiscal year 2025-26.

A total of 15 scientists were specifically honored under the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Vaigyanik Samman Yojana scheme. The highest honor of the ceremony, the Lifetime Achievement Award, was conferred upon Professor Satya Prakash. He serves as the Head of the Department of Vegetable Science at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, located in Meerut. This award recognizes his decades of pioneering research and educational leadership in vegetable science.
