Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to perform the ground-breaking and foundation-laying ceremony for the ambitious Greater Agra township project on Tuesday. This major urban development initiative, with an estimated cost of Rs 5,142 crore, marks a significant step in the state's efforts to modernize infrastructure and expand urban areas.

Comprehensive Development Plan

During his visit to Agra, CM Yogi Adityanath will review the detailed model of the proposed township, which is being developed by the Agra Development Authority. The project falls under the state government's New City Promotion Scheme and broader urban expansion strategy, aimed at creating sustainable and well-planned residential communities.

The Greater Agra township will be constructed on 449.65 hectares of land across the villages of Raipur and Rehan Kalan. As part of this scheme, a total of 10 modern residential townships are planned, designed to offer high-quality living standards with all essential public amenities.
