A severe road accident near Amritsar resulted in one fatality and left more than a dozen people injured on Thursday. The collision involved a private passenger bus and a speeding tipper truck in Kathunangal village, causing significant damage and chaos.

Senior Superintendent of Police for Amritsar Rural, Suhail Qasim Mir, confirmed one death in the accident. The police have seized the tipper involved in the crash; however, its driver managed to flee from the scene and remains at large.
