Police stated that he worked alongside his father, Sarfaraz, at a scrap shop located near City Station. Samad is survived by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. Relatives described him as a major pillar of support for the family, and his untimely death has plunged them into deep mourning.

Investigators revealed that Samad had gone for a ride towards the Kanpur Bypass area with his friends Umar, a resident of Husainabad, and Zeeshan, who hails from Bahraich. The accident occurred near a turn behind the Dubagga vegetable market when the speeding motorcycle lost control. According to police, the bike first forcefully struck the divider, then bounced into the opposite lane and crashed head-on into a truck that was parked along the roadside.
