Identification of the Deceased
According to police officials, the deceased has been identified as Nandu, a resident of Shastri Nagar in Manimajra. He had been missing since Thursday, and his family had been searching for him.
Discovery and Response
A passerby noticed Nandu lying unconscious near an underbridge in Shastri Nagar and promptly alerted the police. A team from the Manimajra police station arrived at the scene and rushed him to the Government Multi Speciality Hospital, Sector 16 (GMSH-16), where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Investigation Underway
The police have placed the body in the mortuary for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Preliminary investigations suggest foul play, as the body bore injury marks. Authorities are examining all possible angles, including whether the injuries were inflicted before or after death.
