Protests and Clashes

Angry villagers blocked the road by placing the victim's body on the carriageway, demanding action against those responsible. They also vandalised the SUV involved in the crash.

Police faced resistance while attempting to clear the road and send the body for postmortem, with some protesters resorting to stone-pelting. Additional police personnel were deployed to restore order.

Fatehabad ACP Imran Ahmed said, “Some anti-social elements attempted to block the road and stage a protest. Police used mild force to clear the highway and restore traffic movement. The body has been sent for postmortem, and legal proceedings are underway.”
