NEW DELHI: An Air India Express flight scheduled to operate from Delhi to Patna on Tuesday was delayed after the airline detected a technical issue in the designated aircraft, as reported by news agency ANI.

Passengers were informed about the delay prior to departure. The airline subsequently arranged an alternative aircraft to complete the journey, minimizing further inconvenience.

An Air India Express spokesperson stated, 'One of our Delhi–Patna flights was delayed due to a technical issue with the scheduled aircraft. An alternative aircraft has been arranged. Guests were provided meals and the option to cancel for a full refund or reschedule. We regret the inconvenience.'

The airline confirmed that passengers received meals during the delay and were given the flexibility to either reschedule their travel or obtain a full refund for their tickets.
