He confirmed the complete commitment of both the Government of India and the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure justice is served.
The Home Minister expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the 13 victims who lost their lives in the November 10 Red Fort blast, which also left more than 25 people injured. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's determination to ensure strict punishment for all those responsible for this terrorist act.
High-Level Security Review
Shah's statements came just two days after he chaired two high-level meetings in Delhi to review the investigation into the car explosion. During these critical security briefings, he directed officials to "hunt down each and every culprit" involved in the incident.
In a social media post on platform X, Shah publicly stated: "Chaired review meetings on the Delhi car blast with the senior officials. Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies."
The Home Minister also highlighted India's successful fight against terrorism under PM Modi's leadership over the past 11 years, noting that these efforts have earned global recognition. His scheduled physical visit to Gujarat was cancelled due to his direct involvement in managing the developments related to the Delhi blast investigation.
Several central and state agencies are currently investigating the high-intensity explosion that occurred in a car near the Red Fort on Monday evening, an incident that has raised significant national security concerns across the country.
