Victim Identified as Mahesh Kumar

The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Kumar, a garment factory worker. He was returning home with his wife Kala M, 38, and daughter Charvika, 13, after attending a wedding when the accident occurred. The family was on a two-wheeler when an Audi car allegedly hit them, leading to Kumar's death on the spot. His wife and daughter sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Police Investigation Underway

Senior police officials have formed multiple teams to trace the absconding driver. The eyewitness's statement is expected to provide crucial leads in the case. Authorities are also scanning CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle and its occupant. The Audi was found abandoned a few kilometers from the accident site, and forensic experts are examining it for evidence.
