Punjab Police have disclosed that an Australian teacher who had been missing for several days was murdered by his own brother over a property dispute in Amritsar. The victim, identified as Sunil Sharma, was a resident of Australia who had recently returned to his hometown in Punjab.

According to senior police officials, the accused, Sunil's brother, has been taken into custody. The revelation came days after Sunil's daughter Surbhi Sharma made an impassioned appeal to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for help in finding her father.
Property Dispute Motive
Investigators revealed that the murder was the culmination of a long-standing property dispute between the two brothers. The accused allegedly killed Sunil and disposed of his body to eliminate any evidence. Police are currently searching for the remains.
