Armed Trio Executes Daring Robbery at Bengaluru Jewellery Store
In a brazen daylight heist, three armed men targeted a jewellery shop in Dasanapura, Nelamangala, on Tuesday evening, making off with substantial cash and gold ornaments. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local business community and prompted an intensive police investigation.
Deceptive Entry and Sudden Threat
According to shop owner Manikya Ram, the perpetrators entered Ramdev Jewels around 6 PM, initially posing as genuine customers. They expressed interest in purchasing a pair of earrings, with one individual presenting a sample and requesting a similar design. When informed that the specific design was unavailable, the situation escalated dramatically.
One of the three men abruptly produced what appeared to be a firearm and pointed it directly at the shop staff, transforming the ordinary business transaction into a terrifying robbery scenario. Despite valiant attempts by employees to resist the armed intruders, they were ultimately overpowered by the determined trio.
Swift Escape with Loot
The robbers quickly seized their opportunity, grabbing approximately Rs 50,000 in cash along with 30 grams of gold jewelry before fleeing the premises. Their escape route led them toward Nelamangala, leaving behind shaken staff and a violated business establishment.
Police Investigation and CCTV Evidence
Law enforcement authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident. A senior police officer revealed crucial details obtained from surveillance footage, stating that investigators have collected CCTV recordings from both the shop and surrounding areas.
The visual evidence indicates that the suspects arrived and departed on a motorcycle. Interestingly, only one of the three individuals wore a helmet during the commission of the crime, while the other two displayed uncovered faces. This detail could prove significant in identifying the perpetrators.
