Bengaluru Police Crack Down on Sultanpalya House Burglary, Apprehend Two Suspects
In a significant breakthrough, the RT Nagar police in Bengaluru have successfully arrested a man and his female accomplice in connection with a high-profile house burglary that occurred in the Sultanpalya area. The authorities have seized a substantial cache of stolen property, including 75.3 grams of gold ornaments with an estimated market value of Rs 10.5 lakh. Details of the Accused and the Crime
The individuals taken into custody have been identified as Mohammed Mudasir S, aged 18, and Tabasum, aged 35, both residents of Thimmaiah Garden in Bengaluru. According to police reports, the burglary took place on March 28, when Mudasir allegedly broke into a residential property in Sultanpalya. The victim had securely locked the house before departing for work in the evening, but upon returning later that night, discovered the door lock had been forcibly broken and approximately 80 grams of gold ornaments were missing. The swift response by law enforcement underscores their commitment to addressing such incidents promptly.
Police Investigation and Recovery of Stolen Goods
Following intensive investigations, police officers managed to apprehend Mudasir on April 5 near Thimmaiah Garden. During interrogation, Mudasir confessed to the burglary and revealed that he had handed over the stolen gold ornaments to Tabasum. Acting on this information, authorities arrested Tabasum on the same day. She admitted to receiving the stolen items and storing them at her residence. The recovery of 75.3 grams of gold, valued at Rs 10.5 lakh, represents a major success in the case, ensuring that the stolen property is returned to its rightful owner and sending a strong message against criminal activities.
