Police have identified the three accused as Amit Chaudhary, Anmol Tiwari, and Munna Chaudhary. The involvement of two serving police officers has particularly concerned authorities. Amit Chaudhary serves as a constable posted at the Kuchaykot police station in Gopalganj district, while Anmol Tiwari works as a constable in the fire department at the same police station.
Investigators uncovered that the two constables had attended a celebration at the house of Munna Chaudhary, who happens to be a relative of constable Amit Chaudhary.
