BJP Leader Rescues Two from Burning Car in Jaipur

A dramatic incident unfolded in Jaipur's Muhana area on Sunday night when a moving petrol car suddenly caught fire and its doors locked automatically, trapping two men inside. A major tragedy was averted thanks to the quick intervention of BJP functionary and Sanganer BJP Mandal president Sunil Sharma, who along with local residents broke the vehicle's window glass to rescue the occupants.

Details of the Incident

According to police, the incident occurred around 9:30 pm near Muhana Mod. The car, which was traveling from Ajmer, suddenly started emitting smoke before coming to a halt on the road. Soon after stopping, the vehicle's doors got locked, trapping the two men inside. One of the men was reportedly dropping his friend, a student in Jaipur, in Malviya Nagar.

Sunil Sharma noticed the youths struggling inside the smoke-filled car and immediately rushed to the spot. With the help of nearby residents, he smashed the window glass and safely pulled them out moments before the fire intensified. The rescue operation was completed just in time, as the flames quickly engulfed the vehicle.

Emergency Response

Upon receiving information, Muhana police and a fire brigade team reached the spot. Traffic was briefly halted while firefighters battled the blaze for around 10 minutes before bringing it under control. The car was completely destroyed in the fire, but no injuries were reported.

The police officer stated that the cause of the fire is under investigation. Preliminary reports suggest a possible mechanical or electrical fault. The rescued individuals were unharmed and thanked their rescuers for their bravery.
