Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) executed a major administrative reshuffle, relieving 18 officials and staff—including additional commissioner Mukesh Sharma—and issuing transfer orders for new postings across districts. The simultaneous announcements kept BMC headquarters abuzz all day and will alter operations in several departments.
Officials Relieved from Duties
Released from their current duties are additional commissioner Mukesh Sharma, assistant commissioner Satish Matseniya, revenue inspector Anant Tyagi, and assistant revenue inspectors Himanshu Joshi and Abhay Kumar Chaturvedi. From the engineering wing, executive engineers Rajaram Ahirwar and Brajesh Kaushal, along with sub-engineers Sanjay Baradiya, Diksha Suryavanshi, Anita Mehar, Ajay Singh Solanki, and Gopilal Chaudhary, have been relieved for new postings.
Sanitation and Field Staff Changes
Sanitation and field staff changes include sanitation supervisor Shailu Dagar, deputy sanitation supervisors Satish Dhakad and Surbhi Nema, and sanitation inspector Shailaja Pawar. Timekeeper Ujjwal Srivastava and senior official Radheshyam Mandloi also have been relieved to take up new responsibilities.
The transfers follow state government orders, and with 18 staff reassigned at once, a reallocation of responsibilities across departments is expected immediately.
