Gurwa was originally discovered wandering in the Pindrajora area back in 2022, where concerned villagers promptly alerted local authorities. Following protocol, he was handed over to the police, who then presented him before the Child Welfare Committee for proper care and shelter.
He was subsequently placed at a child care home located in Sahyog village, Chas, where he began receiving the necessary support. However, the real challenge lay in identifying his origins and reconnecting him with his family.
Overcoming Memory and Health Barriers
Gurwa faced significant mental health challenges and had limited memory recall, which severely hampered initial identification efforts. He could not provide clear details about his identity, family background, or hometown, turning the search into a prolonged and painstaking endeavor.

"Their expertise and resources helped authorities finally retrieve the necessary information that ultimately led us to his family home."
