Bulandshahr Murder Case: Man Found Buried in Forest, Childhood Friend Among Three Arrested
In a shocking crime that has rattled the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, a 24-year-old man who went missing earlier this week was discovered murdered and buried in a forest area. Police authorities have swiftly arrested three individuals in connection with the brutal killing, including the victim's own childhood friend.
Victim's Disappearance and Investigation Breakthrough
The victim, identified as Sakshar Kaushik, a resident of Devipura-I under the Bulandshahr police station jurisdiction, left his home on Monday evening with his friend Devesh Singh. When Sakshar failed to return home and his mobile phone remained switched off, his concerned family members immediately approached the local police to file a missing person report.
Investigators reviewed CCTV footage which confirmed that Sakshar was last seen in the company of Devesh Singh. During initial questioning, Devesh attempted to mislead authorities by claiming that Sakshar had disembarked from their vehicle midway through their journey. However, under sustained police interrogation, Devesh eventually confessed to his involvement in the murder.
Gruesome Details of the Crime Emerge
According to police officials, the accused individuals lured Sakshar to Bilsuri in Sikandrabad under the pretext of a drinking session. During this gathering, a heated argument erupted among the group. The situation escalated dramatically when Devesh Singh, along with accomplices Mukesh Kumar and Shubham Chaudhary, allegedly strangled Sakshar and then proceeded to crush his head with bricks.
In a calculated attempt to conceal their crime, the perpetrators transported the body to a nearby forested area where they buried it in a field. Senior Superintendent of Police (City) Shankar Prasad confirmed that the murder was premeditated, stating, "The accused deliberately made him drink before carrying out the killing and subsequently buried the body to hide evidence."
Relationship Dispute Revealed as Motive
Police investigations have uncovered that the murder stemmed from a deeply personal dispute. SP Prasad revealed that Mukesh Kumar was involved in a relationship with a transgender individual and developed a grudge against Sakshar after witnessing him together with the same transgender person.
"Mukesh harbored resentment against Sakshar following an encounter where he saw the transgender individual and Sakshar together," explained SP Prasad, highlighting the emotional complexities that allegedly triggered the violent confrontation.
Arrests Made and Manhunt Continues
Law enforcement authorities have successfully apprehended three suspects in the case:
- Devesh Singh (the victim's childhood friend)
- Shubham Chaudhary
- The transgender individual connected to the dispute
However, the primary accused, Mukesh Kumar, remains at large as police continue their manhunt to bring him into custody. The investigation remains active as authorities work to uncover additional details and ensure all those responsible face justice.
This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising concerns about personal safety and the escalation of interpersonal conflicts into violent crimes. Police have assured the public that they are pursuing all leads diligently to ensure complete resolution of this disturbing case.
