A bus conductor was arrested in Mangaluru for allegedly sexually harassing a student on a bus operating on the Mangaluru–Vittal route. The accused has been identified as Irfan, a resident of Uppinangady.

The incident came to light when the victim, a student, reported the harassment to her parents. She stated that Irfan had inappropriately touched her while she was traveling on the bus. Her parents immediately lodged a complaint at the local police station.
