Government Bus Overturns Near Madurai After Tyre Burst
A government bus overturned near Samayanallur in Madurai district on Monday. The accident occurred after one of the vehicle's tyres suddenly deflated. Three passengers sustained minor injuries in the incident.

The bus was traveling from Madurai to Palani with 55 passengers on board. Around noon, near the Kattapulinagar bus stop, the driver lost control of the vehicle. Police confirmed the tyre deflation caused the driver to lose control, leading to the bus overturning.

Police and fire safety personnel rushed to the accident spot immediately. They worked alongside local residents to rescue all passengers from the overturned bus. The three injured passengers received prompt medical attention at the Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai. Their injuries were reported as minor.
