A 25-year-old man was apprehended by police in possession of a stolen motorcycle under the jurisdiction of Hunterganj police station in Chatra on Sunday night. The arrest occurred during a targeted vehicle checking operation, although the suspect's accomplice successfully evaded capture by fleeing the location.

According to official statements released on Monday, the individual taken into custody has been identified as Vishnu Ganjhu, a resident of Kolwa village within the Jori Vashisht Nagar police station area. The incident unfolded near Kauleshwari Hatwaria Road when Ganjhu and his accomplice, who were riding a motorcycle, refused to comply with police instructions to stop.
