SDM Chairs Review Meeting on Public Grievances
Chhachhrauli Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Jaspal Singh Gill conducted a review meeting with officials from various departments at the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) office in Chhachhrauli town on Wednesday. The meeting focused on the progress of samadhan shivirs, jan samvad sessions, CM Window complaints, and other government schemes.
Officials from both Chhachhrauli and Pratap Nagar blocks attended the meeting, including BDPO Kartik Chauhan (Chhachhrauli), BDPO Shabnam Rehlan (Pratap Nagar), SDO Panchayati Raj Vinod Kumar (Pratap Nagar), SDO Panchayati Raj Shiv Dayal (Chhachhrauli), and village secretaries from both blocks.
Emphasis on Quick Disposal of Complaints
SDM Gill stated that samadhan shivirs are being organized as per government directives to ensure swift and effective resolution of public grievances. He sought detailed information from officials regarding complaints received across departments, pending cases, and the progress made in their disposal.
"Every complaint received through samadhan shivirs, jan samvad, CM Window, and SMGT should be resolved on a priority basis, so that citizens can get timely benefits of the public welfare schemes of the Haryana government," SDM Jaspal Singh Gill said.
Strict Action Against Illegal Mining
During the meeting, the SDM laid special emphasis on preventing illegal mining in the sub-division. He directed concerned officials to maintain close surveillance over such activities. Gill noted that continuous monitoring is being carried out with the cooperation of the Irrigation Department, concerned gram panchayats, and mobile teams to curb illegal mining.
"The district administration, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Preeti, is committed to completely curbing illegal mining. If any person is found violating the rules, strict action will be taken against them. The administration is working with utmost seriousness and promptness to protect natural resources," Gill added.
Flood Preparedness During Rainy Season
In view of the ongoing rainy season, the SDM also directed flood-prone gram panchayats to remain alert and cautious. He instructed officials to ensure that all necessary precautions and contingency plans are in place to handle any flood-related emergencies.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from all officials to expedite grievance redressal and strengthen enforcement against illegal activities.
