Dismissal and Case Registered

SP Deepak Saharan dismissed Ranbir Singh from service. A case has also been registered against him, and the investigation has been transferred to the Anti-Narcotics Bureau (ANB).

The ASP stated that the quantity of opium allegedly misappropriated was yet to be ascertained. “We are also probing whether the dismissed officer had links with traffickers or intended to sell the contraband himself,” he said.
