Decomposed Torsos in Suitcases Found in Bihar River

Patna: The decomposed torsos of two men were found packed inside two separate suitcases in the Durgawati river in Kaimur district on Sunday. The heads of both bodies were missing, and the remaining body parts were dismembered and stuffed into the luggage.

Around 10 am, local residents noticed two suspicious suitcases near the river emitting a foul smell. Upon closer inspection, they found the bags filled with chopped human remains. They immediately alerted the Ramgarh police station.

Upon arrival, police found the chopped body parts inside the bags. Senior police officers, including Kaimur Superintendent of Police Harimohan Shukla, rushed to the spot. A forensic team arrived and gathered evidence from the site. The dismembered remains were sent to the sadar hospital in Bhabua for postmortem examination.
