The minor victim, accompanied by her family, approached the local police station to file a formal complaint. In her statement, she described how she was playing with her younger sister near a school when the man—identified as a neighbor known to her—lured her to his nearby shop and allegedly assaulted her.
DCP Kushal Pal Singh of Dwarka district confirmed that the accused lives approximately 50 meters from the girl's residence, emphasizing the proximity that facilitated the alleged crime. The child further revealed to investigators that similar incidents had occurred previously, suggesting a pattern of predatory behavior.

The alleged assault took place on Sunday, after which the girl informed her mother.
