Delhi Police Investigate Occult Link in Mysterious Triple Death Case Near Peeragarhi Flyover
In a chilling development, Delhi Police are delving into a potential occult angle following the discovery of three deceased individuals inside a vehicle near the Peeragarhi flyover in northwest Delhi. The victims have been identified as Randhir, aged 78, Shiv Naresh, 47, and Laxmi, 40. Authorities have launched a comprehensive probe, questioning ten persons, including a self-proclaimed godman who was reportedly the last person seen with the trio before their untimely demise.
Godman Under Scrutiny: A History of Criminal Allegations
According to police sources, the godman in question has multiple criminal cases registered against him from the past. He is described as leading a seemingly ordinary life, with a family, and does not adopt the typical appearance of a spiritual figure. However, he allegedly claims to perform occult rituals and promises miraculous financial gains, such as turning thousands into lakhs and lakhs into crores. Investigators are examining whether the victims approached him for financial assistance and if any ritual or meeting occurred on the day of the incident.
Police are also trying to determine if a suspected poisonous substance was administered by the godman or consumed by the victims on his advice. At this stage, there is no conclusive evidence to classify the deaths as coercion, deception, or a voluntary act. A senior police officer revealed that the godman has been implicated in similar complaints previously, where clients died under suspicious circumstances or disappeared, but direct culpability was hard to establish due to lack of evidence.
Scene of the Crime and Investigative Efforts
When police arrived at the scene, they found Randhir in the driver's seat and Laxmi and Shiv Naresh in the rear seats, with the passenger seat empty. This has led investigators to speculate that the godman might have been seated there initially and exited the vehicle later. The officer added that the godman's recent association with Randhir and Shiv Naresh is under intense scrutiny, and it appears the victims' contact with him began only recently.
Furthermore, police sources indicate that the victims were in touch with not just one but several babas, all of whom are now being investigated as part of the probe. Randhir's relative, Mohit, informed TOI that less than a week ago, locals observed four to five unidentified godmen frequently visiting Randhir's property dealer office during late-night and early morning hours, adding to the mystery.
Victim Profiles and Post-Mortem Findings
Preliminary post-mortem reports suggest that Randhir and Shiv Naresh had consumed alcohol prior to their deaths. Laxmi's family has not yet arrived in the city, and details of her post-mortem are awaited. Police revealed that Laxmi was married twice and her family was already acquainted with the godman. On the day of the incident, her husband saw her off as she left with Randhir and Shiv Naresh in the car to pick up the baba. Investigators are exploring whether Laxmi played a role in introducing the godman to Shiv Naresh and Randhir.
Digital and Forensic Investigation Underway
Police are meticulously scanning CCTV footage from Baprola, where the duo departed to collect Laxmi and the baba, and then the isolated spot in Peeragarhi. They are piecing together the sequence of events inside the vehicle. All personal belongings, including jewellery and cash, were found intact, and the mobile phones of Laxmi and Shiv Naresh were recovered. However, the unexplained disappearance of Randhir's phone has become a focal point, with police analysing call detail records and digital evidence to trace his last communications. Additionally, they are probing whether any monetary disputes were involved in the case.
As the investigation progresses, Delhi Police remain committed to uncovering the truth behind this tragic incident, with the occult angle adding a complex layer to the ongoing inquiries.
