A tragic incident unfolded in northwest Delhi's Shakurpur area on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of a 50-year-old grocery shop owner and injuries to four others. The violent clash reportedly erupted from a neighborhood dispute over the use of common space, escalating into a deadly confrontation.

The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar, a resident of Shakurpur. According to police reports, the altercation began near Sanjay Park in Shakurpur's K Block around 9:10 pm. A senior police officer stated that the dispute is suspected to have originated from disagreements regarding the utilization of shared space within the locality.
Preliminary investigations reveal that members of both groups allegedly attacked each other with various weapons including lathis, iron rods, and knives. The violence resulted in Rajkumar being stabbed to death, while four others sustained injuries during the confrontation.
Injured Victims and Family Connections
Among those injured were Sumit Gupta, who is the son of the deceased Rajkumar, and Kishan Gupta, the brother of the deceased. Additionally, two more individuals from the accused group - another man named Sumit and his father Nand Kishore - also sustained injuries during the violent exchange.
Police have confirmed that a claim regarding the daughter-in-law of the deceased being attacked is currently under investigation as part of their comprehensive inquiry into the incident.
