New Delhi: Commuters traveling through central and east Delhi are likely to encounter traffic restrictions and diversions on Friday morning due to an official function at Mahatma Gandhi Smriti Sthal, Rajghat. The restrictions are expected to be in place between 10 am and 11:30 am, with congestion anticipated in nearby areas.

Traffic Advisory Issued

Issuing a traffic advisory, Delhi Traffic Police urged commuters heading to the airport, railway stations, or ISBTs to plan their journeys in advance. Affected routes include ITO Chowk to Delhi Gate via BSZ Marg, Shantivan Chowk to IP Flyover, Asaf Ali Road, Nishad Raj Marg, Guru Nanak Chowk to Ranjeet Singh Flyover, and the Rajghat DTC Depot stretch towards the Ring Road bypass.

Diversions and Parking Guidelines

Diversions may also be imposed at major intersections depending on traffic conditions and the movement of dignitaries. Commuters have been asked to park only at designated spots and avoid roadside parking. Additionally, commuters can check updates on gold rates, silver rates, bank holidays, public holidays, Delhi AQI, weather, and fuel prices to plan their day accordingly.
