According to the woman's complaint, the delivery agent arrived at her doorstep with a package. When she refused to accept the delivery, the man allegedly pushed the door open and entered her home. She stated that she felt alone and feared for her safety as he proceeded to use her washroom without permission. The situation escalated when he came out and allegedly exposed his private parts, flashing at her. The woman managed to alert neighbors, who intervened and helped her contact the police.

The Marathahalli Police Station registered a First Information Report (FIR) on July 12, 2026, based on the woman's complaint. In a tweet, DCP Whitefield Bengaluru confirmed: "In this regard, an FIR has been registered at Marathahalli Police Station, and the investigation is in progress."
