Dhanbad Police Question Prince Khan's Parents

Dhanbad: In a significant move within the ongoing crackdown against the notorious Wasseypur gangster Prince Khan, Dhanbad police on Tuesday summoned his father Nasir Khan and mother Nasreen Khatoon to the Dhanbad police station. The couple was questioned for nearly five hours regarding the activities and whereabouts of the fugitive criminal.

Interrogation Details

According to police sources, the couple had appeared in court in connection with a murder case where a judgment is expected shortly. After the court proceedings, police escorted them directly to the police station for interrogation. A special team, led by DSP Law and Order Naushad Alam, questioned the duo and examined their mobile phones for potential clues linked to Prince Khan and other family members allegedly involved in criminal activities.

Claims of No Contact

During the questioning, Nasir Khan and Nasreen Khatoon repeatedly asserted that they no longer maintain any relationship with their sons. This includes absconding gangsters Prince Khan and Gopi Khan, jailed accused Godwin Khan, and Bunty Khan, who is currently out on bail. They informed police that Bunty does not live with them and that they have had no recent contact with Prince or Gopi.

The couple further stated that repeated police attachment and confiscation drives forced them to relocate from Dhanbad to rented accommodations. They later moved frequently between Kolkata and their ancestral home in Siwan, Bihar. Police reportedly questioned them about their last communication with Prince and Gopi Khan, and whether they remain in touch with the wives of the two gangsters. Both wives later moved to Dubai despite earlier informing the court that they had no connection with their husbands.

Police Investigation Intensifies

Dhanbad SSP Prabhat Kumar said police are continuously investigating the activities of absconding gangster Prince Khan and that action against him will continue until his arrest. Prince Khan is accused of operating an extortion network from Pakistan by threatening businessmen in Jharkhand. Several criminal cases against him are registered across the state. Police recently arrested his close aide Saifi Abbas Naqvi alias Major from Kolkata Airport on April 19, after which the investigation intensified further.
