Former YSRCP minister Ambati Rambabu appeared before the Vempalle and Pulivendula police for questioning on Thursday in connection with cases booked against him for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Case Details

Following a complaint lodged by local TDP leader Rama Muni Reddy, the Pulivendula and Vempalle police registered cases against Ambati Rambabu under various sections of the BNS Act on February 1. The case pertains to alleged derogatory statements made by the former minister targeting the chief minister.

Ambati Rambabu's Response

After appearing before the police, Ambati Rambabu paid his respects to former chief minister Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy at the YSR ghat in Idupulapaya on Thursday. He stated that YSRCP leaders cannot be intimidated by false cases being booked against them. He asserted that he took a vow to put up a relentless fight to oust the Telugu Desam Party-led NDA regime in the state soon.
