A family in Karondiya village near Manawar in Dhar district was allegedly assaulted by six neighbours on Wednesday following a dispute over the use of abusive language towards bullocks.
Incident Details
Sub Inspector Sushil Yaduvanshi informed TOI that the victim, Dayaram Baghel, was ploughing his field with bullocks along with his father Loniya. While handling the animals, Dayaram used foul language. A neighbouring family misinterpreted the words as being directed at them, leading to an argument.
Attack and Injuries
The neighbours attacked Dayaram and Loniya, after which other members of both families joined the fray. The altercation resulted in injuries to three persons, including two women.
Legal Action
The attackers were booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Further investigation is underway.
