Deepika's uncle stated that there were multiple injury marks on her body, including a deep wound that may have been caused by a sharp object. He further alleged that the husband's family had demanded a Fortuner car as dowry, along with Rs 50 lakh in cash.

Police Action

The incident occurred on Sunday night. Police have arrested Deepika's husband Hrithik and father-in-law Manoj in connection with the case. An investigation is ongoing to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to her death.
