Father files complaint against school management

A resident of Gala village in Jwalamukhi subdivision of Kangra district has alleged that negligence by the management of a local private school led to the death of his 14-year-old son. The grieving father stated that the school failed to provide timely medical attention and attempted to conceal information about the circumstances surrounding the boy's death.

Victim Kabir Rana was a Class IX student

The deceased, Kabir Rana, was a Class IX student and had been staying in the school's hostel for the past two years. According to the police complaint, Kabir had been suffering from mental and physical distress for some time, but the school neither shifted him from the hostel nor provided adequate medical care.

Allegations of cover-up and negligence

The father alleged that the school authorities did not inform the family about the deteriorating condition of their son. He accused the school principal, hostel warden and bus driver of being negligent in their responsibilities. Furthermore, he claimed the school management attempted to mislead the family regarding the circumstances of Kabir's death.
