Fazilka Police Achieve Swift Breakthrough in Kidnapping Case

In a remarkable display of efficiency, the Fazilka police successfully cracked a kidnapping case within just four hours on Thursday. The operation led to the safe rescue of the hostage and the arrest of six individuals, including three women, who were allegedly involved in the crime.

Timeline of the Incident and Police Response

The case unfolded on Wednesday when Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Dhani Seeto Gunno in Abohar tehsil, reported to the authorities that his father had left home around 10 am for work in Seeto Gunno and had not returned. The situation escalated when Rakesh's nephew, Anuj Kumar, received a call from the victim's phone. The caller claimed that the man was being held hostage and demanded a ransom of Rs 2.5 lakh for his release.

Subsequently, another call was made from the victim's phone, this time with a woman speaking. She issued a stern warning, threatening to falsely implicate the victim in a rape case if the ransom was not deposited into a provided bank account. Shortly after, Rakesh received yet another call, with the perpetrators threatening to create and circulate an obscene video of his father if their demands were not met.
