Lalpur police station in-charge Rupesh Kumar Singh stated that he was passing through the vicinity around 4:30 am when he observed smoke emanating from the hotel. Initially, he continued on his way, but approximately ten minutes later, a morning walker who knew him called to alert him about the fire. Singh promptly notified the police control room and the fire services.
Firefighting Efforts
Fire tenders from Audrey House and Piska More arrived at the location and worked tirelessly for two and a half hours to extinguish the flames. Their coordinated efforts prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring structures.
