A fire broke out in the kitchen area of a restaurant near Atal Chowk in Lucknow's Hazratganj area on Sunday evening, according to fire officials. The incident occurred on the ground floor of the establishment, prompting a swift response from the fire department.

The control room at the Hazratganj fire station received an alert at 6:58 pm about the blaze. Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene and managed to control the fire, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far.

The restaurant is owned by Prafull Pandey, son of B N Pandey, a resident of Liberty Colony in Sarvodaya Nagar, Mahanagar. Ankush Mittal, Chief Fire Officer of Lucknow, confirmed that the exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Authorities are examining the kitchen area to determine whether the fire resulted from a gas leak, electrical short circuit, or other factors.
