According to the investigating officer, ASI Harjinder Singh, a party was underway to celebrate the birthday of Dimapjit Singh, a resident of Assal Chowk, Patti. During the event, an argument broke out between two groups over the music being played on the DJ, which led to the exchange of gunfire. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities have been reported.

Police Action

The police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the firing. They cordoned off the area and collected evidence, including two shells and a live cartridge. ASI Harjinder Singh stated that an investigation has been initiated and efforts are on to identify the individuals involved in the incident. He added that the restaurant's CCTV footage is being examined to ascertain the sequence of events.
