Acting on a credible tip-off, the police team positioned themselves near a school close to Mahipalpur.

During the operation, two youths were observed approaching on a motorcycle. Upon noticing the police presence, the suspects immediately opened fire. In response, the police team engaged in retaliatory firing, resulting in both robbers sustaining bullet injuries to their legs.
