Four Killed in Tragic Head-On Collision Between Motorbike and Tempo in Nuh
A horrific road accident on the Delhi-Alwar road in Nuh resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including three members of a single family, on Wednesday afternoon. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and raised concerns about road safety in the region.
Details of the Fatal Crash
The collision occurred between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM near Dhamala village in the Firozpur Jhirka area. According to police reports, a motorcycle carrying a family collided head-on with a pickup tempo traveling from the opposite direction. The impact of the crash was so severe that all three riders on the motorbike—a teenager driving the bike, his grandmother, and his mother—died instantly at the scene.
The tempo driver sustained critical injuries in the accident and later succumbed to his wounds during the night. The deceased riders have been identified as Saif (16), Rashidan (62), and Jahida (38), all residents of Rangla in Firozpur Jhirka. Police stated that the family was en route to a relative's house when the tragedy unfolded. The tempo driver was identified as Aneesh (34).
Investigation and Aftermath
An investigating officer described the force of the collision as immense, noting that the motorcycle became lodged into the tempo from the driver's side. The front portion of the tempo, including the engine compartment, was severely damaged. Due to the impact, Aneesh suffered grievous injuries, the officer explained.
Authorities arrived at the spot promptly after receiving information and transported the bodies for a post-mortem examination. Traffic flow on the affected stretch was temporarily disrupted but was later restored to normal.
In response to the incident, a case has been registered against Aneesh under sections 281 (rash driving) and 106 (causing death by negligence) of the BNS at the Firozpur Jhirka City police station. Police have confirmed that further investigation is ongoing to determine the precise sequence of events that led to the collision.
This tragic event underscores the urgent need for enhanced road safety measures and vigilant driving practices to prevent such devastating accidents in the future.
