In a distressing incident in Barola village, Noida, three daily wage workers suffered burn injuries after a gas cylinder leak sparked a fire at their rented accommodation on Thursday evening. The victims, all hailing from Badaun, were working at a nearby construction site and shared a single room.

According to police reports, the fire erupted around 5 PM when Anu, a 19-year-old worker, was cooking on a small LPG stove. Gas began leaking from the pipe connecting the cylinder, igniting almost instantly and engulfing the cooking area in flames. Anu sustained severe burns in the initial blaze.
Hearing his screams, his roommates Shivam (18) and Shani (26) rushed to assist. They managed to douse the fire before it could spread further, an action that likely prevented a more catastrophic accident. However, both Shivam and Shani suffered burn injuries during their rescue attempt.
Emergency Response and Hospitalization
Panicked residents of the building quickly gathered and helped shift the three men to the district hospital for initial treatment. Due to the critical nature of his injuries, Anu was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for advanced medical care. Shivam and Shani are reported to be in stable condition.
