Ghaziabad Girl's Autopsy Confirms Brutal Rape and Murder; Maternal Uncle Hunted as Prime Suspect
The autopsy report of a four-year-old girl discovered deceased beneath a parked car in Ghaziabad's Teela Mor area on Saturday has definitively confirmed that she was subjected to a horrific rape and subsequently murdered. Police authorities have identified her maternal uncle as the primary suspect and are actively pursuing him in connection with this heinous crime.
Autopsy Reveals Horrific Details of the Attack
The post-mortem examination report disclosed that the young victim was brutally raped and then strangled to death. The findings pointed to more than eight distinct injury marks on her body, underscoring the violent nature of the assault. The girl had been taken for a walk by her uncle under the pretense of purchasing food for her, only to be found lifeless under a vehicle hours later.
Police Investigation Intensifies with CCTV and Eyewitness Accounts
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dhawal Jaiswal, who holds additional charge of the Trans-Hindon region, stated that over five police personnel are dedicated to investigating this case. "We have secured multiple CCTV camera recordings that clearly show the girl in the company of her maternal uncle," DCP Jaiswal emphasized. "Furthermore, several eyewitnesses have corroborated that they last saw the child alive with him, strengthening our focus on this individual."
Law enforcement received a distress call via Dial 112 at approximately 8 PM on Saturday, reporting the discovery of the child's body. By that time, she had been missing for more than eight hours. The body was promptly sent for autopsy, while forensic teams meticulously collected evidence from the crime scene to aid the investigation.
Family Background and the Tragic Sequence of Events
The victim was the second of three siblings in a family where both parents work as daily wage laborers. According to family members, the child was taken from outside her home around noon on Saturday. At that moment, only she and her father were present, with her father being visually impaired.
The father recounted that the accused, who had been residing a short distance away for about a month and frequently visited the family, arrived at the house while the girl was sitting outside enjoying an ice cream. He then lured her away with promises of buying her more treats.
When the girl's mother returned home and realized her daughter was missing, the child had already been gone for some time. The family immediately initiated a frantic search throughout the neighborhood. Hours later, they were tragically informed by police about the discovery of a young girl's body, which they identified as their daughter at the hospital.
Accused's Background and Legal Proceedings
A family relative alleged that the accused, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, is a habitual substance abuser. He had reportedly come to stay in the Ghaziabad area approximately a month prior following a dispute with his wife and family. The relative also mentioned that CCTV footage recovered by police depicts the accused carrying the child on his shoulders, further implicating him.
An First Information Report (FIR) has been officially registered against the accused under several sections of the law, including:
- Section 103(1) for murder
- Section 238 for causing disappearance of evidence or providing false information to screen offenders
- Section 65(2) for rape under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)
- Relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act
The case has been filed at the Teela Mod police station, with authorities vowing to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice for the innocent victim.
