Reason Behind the Act

Senior police officers revealed that Cheenu did not attend school that day due to an eye allergy. During the day, her mother scolded her over some matter, which reportedly upset her. Following the scolding, Cheenu jumped from the 15th floor. She was a Class 11 student at Thakur Dwara Girls College.

Investigation Underway

The ACP confirmed that the body has been sent for a medical examination. No suicide note was found at the spot, and Cheenu did not possess a mobile phone. A forensic team has inspected the site. While the preliminary investigation suggests that the girl acted out of distress after being scolded by her mother, the matter is still being thoroughly investigated.
