The violent altercation unfolded on Monday afternoon, resulting in the manager being stabbed in the neck with a knife grabbed from the bar counter.

Details of the Violent Confrontation

According to official police reports, the accused, identified as Mohammad Ashraf, a resident of Uttam Nagar in West Delhi, was employed at White Flower Cottages. The confrontation erupted around 4:10 PM when Ashraf engaged in a heated argument with the resort manager, Sunil Singh, aged 34. The dispute occurred near the bar area of the establishment.

As tensions escalated rapidly, Ashraf allegedly seized a knife from the bar counter and launched a brutal attack on Singh, targeting his neck with the apparent intent to cause fatal harm. Police authorities stated that this deliberate act was carried out in a fit of rage during the escalating spat.

Immediate Intervention and Aftermath

The assault led to severe and profuse bleeding from Singh's neck, creating a critical situation. Fortunately, staff members who were present at the location acted swiftly to intervene. They managed to overpower Ashraf, disarm him, and prevent any further injury or escalation of violence.

Following the incident, a formal complaint was lodged by the business owner, Md Belal, prompting the Anjuna police to register a case against Ashraf. The investigation is currently being led by Police Sub-Inspector Nitesh Shingadi, who is examining all aspects of the case to determine the full circumstances and motives behind the attack.
