The girl's mother lodged a formal complaint on Saturday noon, prompting Gumla Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman to instruct the formation of a dedicated police team. This team conducted rapid raids and successfully arrested the three accused—aged 29, 22, and 24—all residents of the same village, by Saturday evening.
