During the encounter, one of the gangsters was fatally shot, while two others managed to escape. The deceased was identified as Vikram, a known criminal with multiple cases of robbery and assault.
Police Casualties and Response
Two police personnel sustained injuries during the exchange. Constable Sunil Yadav suffered a bullet wound to his shoulder, while Head Constable Ramesh Pal was hit in the leg. Both were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Senior police officials visited the hospital to inquire about their health.
Commissioner of Police (CP) Sanjay Kumar praised the bravery of the officers. "Our personnel showed exceptional courage in the face of danger. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our citizens and will continue to crack down on criminal elements," he said.
