As part of the investigation, six individuals were taken into custody by the Hazaribag police. The arrested persons have been identified as Mohhamad Tausif Alam, Islam Ansari alias Karan, Mausam Ansari alias Golu, Abhi Vikas Mallik alias Arwaj, Sandip Kumar Mehta, and a 16-year-old minor.
The use of multiple aliases by some of the accused suggests they may have been involved in criminal activities previously. The inclusion of a minor among those arrested highlights concerns about youth involvement in vehicle theft cases.
